LAKAI ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
Usage Data: We may collect information about how you interact with the Service, including tools used, credits consumed, and session duration.
Local Storage: LAKAI stores preferences, cached subscription status, and tool settings locally in your browser using localStorage. Some of this data is also transmitted server-side for subscription verification and credit management.
Authentication Data: When you sign in, Firebase Authentication tokens are transmitted to our servers to verify your identity and manage your subscription. Your email address is used server-side to look up your payment status with our payment processors.
Payment Data: Payment information is collected and processed by our payment providers (Stripe for USD/international and Razorpay for INR/India). We do not store credit card numbers or bank details on our servers.

LAKAI uses localStorage and Firebase Authentication tokens for session management. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage insights. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
7. Third-Party Services and Data Processors
The Service integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, and user management
- Stripe — payment processing for USD/international transactions
- Razorpay — payment processing for INR transactions in India
- YouTube / Google APIs — channel data retrieval (we do not store YouTube credentials)
- Groq — AI model inference for chat and analysis features
- Vercel — hosting and analytics
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and review your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
9. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will promptly delete it.
